| Seattle Children’s is the Northwest's only regional pediatric medical center serving the states of Washington, Alaska, Montana and Idaho. Children’s Hospital is committed to providing state-of-the-art medical care to patients from birth through age 21 regardless of their race, gender, creed, ethnicity or disability. Through uncompensated care, Children’s is able to care for all Northwest children with medically necessary treatment whose families have limited income or insurance coverage. In any one year there are more than 13,000 children hospitalized at Children’s and more than 232,000 total patient visits. This year, the hospital is expected to provide more than $100 million in uncompensated care to children in need thanks to the generosity of the community. |
